Pair of Turquoise Soapstone Elephant Bookends
There is a simple attraction to the plain silhouette style of this pair turquoise stone elephant bookends. They are hand-made by specialist producer groups in Agra,home of the Taj Mahal, hub of traditional stone craftsmanship.
Palewa is a form of Indian soapstone which is a type of metamorphic rock. It is largely composed of the mineral talc, thus is rich in magnesium.
Soapstone - colours may vary due to natural variations in stone.
