Elephant Design Octagonal Mango Wood

An Elephant with raised Trunk is carved into the top of this Octagonal Mango wood box.  It has a hinged lid and brass colour clasp on front. It measures approximately 15 x 15 x 6cm externally and 7.5 x 7.5 x 4.5cm internally.

Not only is Mango a dual purpose tree, it is a fast growing wood and therefore a sustainable material. It takes approximately 7 to 10 years to grow which is much less than comparable hard woods.

Each box is from a Fair Trade supplier and individually hand made so the colour of the wood may vary from picture. The grain of Mango wood is distinctive and gives the wood a softer, lighter colour. (Key for size guidance - not included)
